Welcome to the Little Boxes’ Indoor Rain Room, brought to you by A-K Arts Collective, a team of passionate photographers with a knack for capturing the most dynamic and visually stunning moments. We’ve shot hundreds of incredible people here since 2013, creating unique and unforgettable visuals that showcase the beauty and power of our controlled rain environment.
Features of the Indoor Rain Room:
- Realistic Rain Effect: Our state-of-the-art system creates continuous, adjustable rain, offering everything from a gentle drizzle to a torrential downpour. The water can be adjusted in intensity to match the mood or aesthetic you’re aiming for.
- Controlled Environment: We control the lighting, rain intensity, ensuring your shoot goes smoothly. The space can be tailored to create specific lighting effects, from soft and romantic to dramatic and moody. Add fog for more fun!
- Versatile: Colored gels on our strobes means it could Purple Rain! Or have a Blue Storm, Pink, Amber, Red Rain is intense too! We also have fog machines to amp up the moody factor.
- Convenient Amenities: We provide easy access to changing room, storage, and customizable props. Our space is fully equipped to handle high-end camera equipment and specialized lighting setups. We set up the scene with over a decade of experience under our belt. Working together on both sides of the camera helped a lot!
- Accommodates Multiple Shoots: The Rain Room is spacious enough to host a variety of shoots, whether you’re working with models, actors, or conducting high-energy action scenes. We have had dance troupes do Bollywood style choreography, contemporary ballet duets, aerial artists, acrobats, clowns, pole dancers, actors, opera singers, lovers and friends twerking in the water, everything you can imagine!
Rental Options:
- Hourly/Full-Day Rates: The Rain Room is available for rental on an hourly or full-day basis. We provide a flexible scheduling option to suit your project needs.
- Professional Support: Our experienced staff is on hand to assist with setup and help facilitate a seamless shoot. We also provide technical support for lighting and rain intensity adjustments during your session.

Helpful Hints for Your Shoot:
- Bring a Towel: It’s always a good idea to have a towel on hand for quick drying between shots, especially if you’re getting a little drenched in the rain!
- Cozy Attire or Robe: After the shoot, wrap yourself in something warm and comfy—your comfort matters just as much as your creativity.
- Tea or Hot Beverage: Treat yourself to a warm cup of tea (or your favorite drink) after the shoot to relax and unwind.
- Apparatus: If you’re using special equipment like props, cameras, or protective gear, bring them along! This helps ensure you’re fully prepared for your shoot.
- Shot Ideas: If you have a vision in mind, feel free to bring along any shot references or ideas. We love collaborating and can help bring your concept to life in our rain room!
